Is this a good product for scanning large architectural plans? I work in a municipal Licenses & Inspections office and we are looking to digitize our archive records.

No, this HP DesignJet T730 Large Format Wireless Plotter Printer does not have scanning features. HP has many DesignJet Multi-function printers to meet your needs, however. Please visit this link for details: https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/mdp/printers-240508--1/designjet--1 For scanning features be sure multi-function is in the title description of the Designjet.
