Swimways Corp

There are walkways and then there are swimways, which you have to wade or paddle through to get where you're going. I guess this is one of the swimways.

Swimways is a company that makes pretty cute swimming-pool-type stuff (pools and inflatables) and it's hard not to like it when they make cute exciting products for young people.

Also, they have great advertising and they're a little expensive when you find them in Walgreens, but I have seen them cheaper before at Dollar stores and discount stores and whatnot, so I recommend giving them a try.

Swimways Corporation does not stand by their product and does not even have replacement parts for their defective products. After contacting the company to get a replacement part, I was told that they did have it in stock and they would send it out right away and I should receive it in 7-10 business days.

The product was not received in that timeframe, so I emailed to follow up. Several emails were not returned. After 6 weeks of waiting, I finally got a response that the first person I spoke with was just a temp and is no longer employed there. They also proceeded to tell me that they do not have the replacement parts I need. They offered no solution to my problem. They still sell the product, so I have no clue why they do not have replacement parts for it. $90+ is a lot to spend on a product that only lasts a few uses.

I will no longer be purchasing their products.

I use my Kelsyus canopy chair all year round for concerts, bbqs or just when I go to the park to hang out. At the pool, the Kelsyus Deluxe Floating Lounger is AWESOME! cup holders, arm rests, and you can sit up so you can enjoy hanging out with your friends.
I would continue to buy Kelsyus products bc of their quality and cool factor :)

I have tried numerous products from this company and they all seem to just be junk. After my latest experience with the recliner with "Canopy" I am truly done with Swimways aka Kelsyus. The Canopy is ridiculous and the recliner deteriorates rapidly (as to all of the other products I have tried). The customer rep at Swimways was right but rude when she said, if you dont like the products why do you buy them. Very helpful NOT! Maybe its shame on me for making more than one purchase of their junk products but I sure have learned my lesson.

Even though I find Swimways Spring Float to be very comfortable, there are always manufacturing defects and flaws. I have bought quite a few over the years, and they always rip at the seam where the foot part starts. Also, the mesh always rips after a while even if used gently. I don't let kids use it and am always careful, but it always happens anyway. I had one exchanged by the company, but didn't open it for a few years because I had others to use. When I finally took it right out of the box this summer, the foot part did not hold the inflation. It deflated within an hour and you can't even patch it if you wanted to because the material covers it. I called them and they refuse to replace it because it is too old. I think they should stand behind their products and replace it because I have bought so many. Even though it sat in the box all this time, there should not be a hole in it. It was probably always there but I didn't know until I blew it up. It's unbelievable they would rather lose a customer than replace it. Very bad business sense.
