equipment rundown rushed cheaper repairscoworkers act like snakes and groupies if you ever have any issues with somebody that is a sweeper good luck with your hours because everyone else is buddied buddied it takes someone lying and exaggerating to sack you. so they won’t change groups. you’re stuck with limited work and communication skills are none existent. they keep rehiring lazy bums and crybabies

SCA creates a lot of opportunities for its employees. They will help you get you CDL and further your education while working for them. They have over 68 locations so there is this creates a lot of opportunities for people to move up and they promote within.

This place will demand all your time ( even off the clock), they run the machines to the ground and push blame on the mechanics. Management is only concerned with their greed to make money, not a care about the environmental effects of their decisions or the care of the workers that keep that place running. Have no skills in managing machines or balance of time, their process and thinking makes no sense as most time leaves the location with not enough trucks to run a night shift. The catch is the demand to fix the trucks in need of parts when the part companies will no longer sell to this company because the bills aren't paid.

Ask for higher hourly wage, they will pay, they are desperate for bodies

Management, Junk machines, low employee moral, dirty environment, favors drivers, horrible benefits, shady environmental practices, greedy owners, no work life balance

Driving a street sweeper all over and sweeping.

You are scheduled a few jobs per day, driving between them and sweeping. Some jobs are an hour. Some are more. Most times you don’t need the time allotted to finish the job. But you have to stay anyway. Management is terrible, the mechanics don’t care if the piece of garbage trucks you drive have problems. The dispatcher (who makes your schedule and is your point of contact for issues) only cares about himself and throwing everyone else under the bus.

Listen to own music, podcasts. Work independently.

Cons

No one gives a hoot about anything. If you have a family, they don’t care what at home responsibilities you have.

Work can be productive, long as equipment is in good working order. Other then poor maintenance on vehicle this place requires patients.

One of the easiest jobs of my life.What is the most stressful part about working at the company?When the weather if bad there is no pay. If you can not work, you will not get paid. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Mostly all men work here. Very few women. There is only men in upper management/ supervisors.
