Thank you and please report felony crimes in a timely manner. Not 7 months later. I reported my car stolen Sgt Heines said it was not reported because officer Edward no longer works there. Complete negligence. My car was reported stolen and they are aware of who stole it. Solano county police dept did No investigation. my car was found in Richmond ca any towed to there police tow yard. I spent $2580 to get my vehicle released after I found my car because the local police dept wasn't doing anything to retrieve vehicle or pursue suspect. Suspect was just released from Solano county jail prior to stealing my vehicle for failing to appear and stealing vehicles.

I came here to collect my car after it had been towed in the Fairfield area- However, it was the wrong location- I needed to go to Police Station in Fairfield instead

The women at the counter was super helpful in directing me to the right place to get my affairs addressed. She was respectful and courteous in her manner which is hit or miss when you are dealing with a police enforcement agency and you are the one in the wrong.

I was able to do a ride-along with this department recently and was very impressed with them. I've done ride alongs with other departments but not in this state and these guys and girls are on point. Made my night hanging out and learning more about what goes on behind the scenes. Stay safe all and thanks for what you do.

You try to ask a question and they snap at you. You try to get a ticket they gave you signed off, and they want $15 for it. Even celebrities give free autographs. Super unimpressed by SCPD. Never thought I'd prefer Fairfield for anything. .
