Dr. Steven A Milman, DDS

I am giving this dentist 0 stars if I had the option. I had scheduled an appointment through the front office. I made sure that I explained in detail that I did not have dental insurance and had been in pain for a few days and was needing an estimate for an extraction ( which I did have to leave early from work for the appt since it was a sort of an emergency at this point and I was fit into the schedule. Shortly after arrival , I waited about 20-25 minutes to be seen, however I could hear Dr. Milman conversating as he made his way down to the last chair. Once I was "greeted" and the exam done I asked if the extraction would also be done , Only for Dr. Milman to say " I don't do extractions on Fridays" not only was the extraction not done as the front office stated it would be but the exam was very painful which left a tooth sore for about a week, Dr. Milman did ask if it was ok to do the consultation, I agreed thinking it was just a consultation but was charged a fee for the consult on my way out . The lack of communication and the extremely poor care for the well being of the patient is unacceptable. Although the credentials may look wonderful don't let them fool you , it is very different when you get there. I have not been back since but when asked if I know a good dentist I do advise NOT to see Dr. Milman.

I had a very bad experience with Dr. Milman's office. Please make sure you cancel your appointments within the given time frame because they will hold you to the $200 cancellation fee agreement they make you sign with your new patient paperwork. I did cancel my appointment a few days short of the week and sure enough I was billed $200 and I didn't pay it in full within a few months it was going to be referred to collections. Needless to say the appoitment was cancelled and I did try to explain to his staff but they're outright rude and don't seem to care what I had to say. It is obvious that Dr. Milman and his staff are just there to look after themselves and don't care about their patients. Look around there are other dentist in the area that actually do care about their clientele, provide excellent service, and their fees are reasonable not outrages like his.
