Career

Prior to his appointment to the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Lindley served as a judge for the New York Supreme Court 7th Judicial District. He was elected to this position in 2006. Prior to that, he served as an acting judge for the Monroe County Court. Lindley also previously served on the Rochester City Court, as a confidential law clerk, and worked as an attorney in private practice.[1]
