Just before 7p.m. Solano County deputies received a call to assist Vallejo PD w/ call regarding a traffic accident where a person was armed w/ a knife. Shortly after deputies arrived, an officer-involved shooting happened and the person died. Major Crimes Task Force is on scene.

It’s a little after 2:30am and the wind shows no sign of slowing down. Fire, public works and utility personnel have responded to numerous reports of downed trees and powerlines throughout Solano County. Per PG&E there are 24,000+ Solano County customers without power.

Ulatis Community Center at 1000 Ulatis Drive and McBride Senior Center at 91 Town Square Place.
Large animals can be taken to the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo. Small pets can be taken to the Solano County Animal Shelter 2510 Claybank Rd.

An EVACUATION ORDER has been issued for residents in Solano County west of Blue Ridge Road to 505 and north of Cherry Glen Road to Hwy 128 due to wildfire. An evacuation order means there is immediate threat to life.
