Survivors include a daughter: Ava Jane McGinnis; father and step-mother: Mark and Tammy McGinnis; mother: Marie Gardner; sisters: Deanna Dixon and Elizabeth McGinnis; brothers: Christopher Waddell, Ellis Waddell, and Markus McGinnis; grandparents: Barbara McGinnis and Vivian Miser; aunts and uncles: Myra and Josh Higgins, Mike McGinnis, Lisa and Hank Gardner, Darlene and Junior Miser; niece and nephew: Kaylee Baskette and Bradin Baskette; numerous cousins; and a special friend: Brett Garland.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Carl McGinnis, Ray and Janet Renner, James F. Gardner; and an uncle, James Lee Gardner.

The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Marci Cobb and Pastor Harrell Cobb officiating.

Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in Cedar Creek Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Markus McGinnis, Mark McGinnis, Wesley Baskette, Hank Gardner, Lynn Reagan, Ellis Waddell, and Gary Lowery.
