Simply. Liss belongs to the group of lowest bade MS in the game (325). The only mages in that group are Orianna and Ziggs (None below)
Beyond builds capabilities, hoe is Liss meant to lane versus assassins e.g.: Akali if their base MS = 345? That's Liss woth boots T1!
It's understandable that this is a remnant from the Aftershock era of Liss but it feels so ... bad.
Beyond mana costs/scaling this feels like a buff that would really help Liss (MS from 325 to 330)
So am a supp player who is moving into mid cause of toxic adcs. But my genius self decided that playing azir of all things was a great idea. It obviously wasn't, so am moving to lissandra. So there is an azir build that goes, liandry into abyssal/frozen heart 2nd and 3rt. I was wondering if something that works for liss cause of her going in playstyle.
Her base damage on abilities seems kinda bad. Q is 200 which is pretty low, same for others except her ult.
And she has low range so laning can be pretty hard. Tho once you get enough AP you are a nuke
Hello, so according to the patch notes lissandra's prestige skin will be released on patch 14.8, but does anyone know how much mythic essence it will cost?
Afaik the cost is based on how many times the prestige skin has been released in the shop, so if it hasn't been released in the mythic shop previously it should be 125 and if it has it should be 150
Is lissandra affected in the sense of items? I briefly read the notes and they didnt change her but i dont know if we got any item updates relating to liss.
Man Im just craving a new liss skin so bad ... take my money T_T
(I like arcanist gimme that BIG BITCH HAT)
What do you guys think?
Lissandra has a 49.7% overall win rate this patch over 54,772 games when playing mid.
Some of the first items she usually builds are:
-
Malignance with a 49.5% win rate and a 90.5% pick rate
-
Luden's Companion with a 51.7% win rate and a 9.5% pick rate
Some of her most picked runes are:
-
Electrocute with a 49.7% win rate and a 67.3% pick rate
-
Arcane Comet with a 49.8% win rate and a 32.7% pick rate
I got the data from a website I'm building, it allows filtering to see full builds based on a starting item or main rune. Here's the link:
Remember that stats don't tell the whole story. There are a lot of variables that affect performance. For example, some items are only built when ahead, which inflates their win rate and late game items usually have higher win rate because only winning teams get to buy them. Stats are more of a guide and a starting point to decide what to build in my opinion.
So I played Lissandra mid, in a normal queue, I ended up winning, with a KDA of 14/7/18, I was playing vs a vex mid, poppy jungle, kled top, tristana adc and lulu supp. My team was a Senna, Bard, Camille and Jax.
I played well the laning phase I roamed to top twice and to bot lane once (i got 2 kills from that), i helped in objetive, i pushed lanes.
But my Senna complained all game from 1 mistake: she went all alone mid lane to their tower, 4 of the enemies went to her , but then my jungle and top pushed top till they got to their tower
Meanwhile my senna was chased by poppy, lulu, kled and vex, I was close but I thought that me going in with just my w r and zhonyas vs a tanky poppy a kled, vex and lulu will only make me and senna died bcz we were in a bad placement so I decided to go and help push top.
I got to top, and i throw my E, R and zhonyas in tower to make time to my jungler and top to destroy tower (the enemy adc farmed the minions we had in tower very fast and the tower was on 10% so i decided to make time) but my top and jungler leave me alone ( i don't judge them).
The Senna complained all game bcz i didn't go into 4 champs Poppy (tank), Kled (top who somehow did a lot of damage), lulu who always waits for me to go to throw me the W and vex who give me a bad time all game) and i find it stupid, bcz if i went into them we would end up giving them a double kill but after that she complained about me giving time in the tower to the top and jungler to throw it bcz I died.
So, my question is: It's she true about that I should go to help her escape while they kill me when i go in? or I did well ignoring a 1 vs 4 fight and try to help?
(I know the tower dive with zhonyas, e and R that got my death wasn't a smart decision but i wanted to make time to throw the tower)
Could someone give me examples of builds for liss that you use depending in the most important scenarios? i love playing her but i dont know what i should build and i just end up building malignance shadowflame - i heard about protobelt, stormsurge, lich bane etc? What do you guys suggest building? Is Zhonya really that bad with ult? heard that it doesent give ah anymore and its bad, any help is nice :)
For context I am a D2 peak Lissandra OTP and have been playing her for ~5 years(not the best player not the worst player but have played a lot of Lissandra).
I don't know the solution but Lissandra has been feeling underwhelming for a while and I think there are a few things contributing to it. I am using this post to try to articulate what I have been feeling as I've been playing my games.
The first and most obvious are that the item rework was not the best for Liss. First items feel awkward. Malignance is nice but leaves you lacking damage. Luden's doesn't give any pen and the passive is usually inefficient because you most often have to throw a Q through something to hit the enemy and that will consume more of the bolts on the initial hit and less on ideal target. Seraph's delays your damage significantly. ROA is just not a good item. Shadowflame is good damage but no CDR, no mana and is expensive.
The items still feel like they spike well on 2 items but just feel awkward prior.
The items that opponents build are much better than they were previously. MR items in general are stronger with more utility. They can also be built sooner in certain situations without the risk of limiting your scaling because a mythic doesn't need to be rushed. There is also more/easier access to tenacity for all classes between items and runes so your lockdown is easier itemize against as well as the damage.
The champions Liss is good into have too many ways to get through a bad early game to spike harder. Lissandra should be good into assassins/melee champs and she is, however it is very hard to punish them in the early game because of the presence of Dorans shield, Fleet footwork, Second Wind. These characters get a free pass through lane to be able to take over a game with no significant weak points.
She also feels bad into other mages and she gets outranged by most champs. Most other midlaners have a combination of 2 of the following: lower CD, more damage, lower mana costs and some champs have all 3 on her.
Lissandra essentially plays the lane with 2 spells and no passive. Because of the CD and mana cost on the E, you can only use it if you are escaping a gank or engaging for your jungler to gank. You are never using your passive in a 1 on 1 situation so you are very limited in what you can do in a lane by yourself.
There is more HP in the game. Between items and runes there is more health in the game than before which impacts the effectiveness of her burst.
Lissandra is a character that at this point is thought of as almost exclusively a counter to certain assassins. Her playrate is low and she is only picked into good matchups and by mains/OTPs. Despite this she has had a winrate below 50% for the last 2 months. If she is only picked in good matchups and by players who have some amount of mastery on the champ her winrate should be at least 50% or slightly higher. To me that means she is not actually as good of a counter pick as people think; does she actually have any "good" matchups?
There are some other things that are probably specific to me that feel bad playing Lissandra (looking at you Mercury Treads countering my whole character) but are not necessarily issues.
I do not mean to imply that Lissandra is a bad champion, she has very clear strengths and can take over games. These issues are not all unique to Lissandra either, many champions suffer some amount of these problems. They all just culminate to leaving her in a spot where she feels underwhelming on the whole and could stand to have some love thrown her way.
What way of her playstyle would you like to have? Less cc, more burst? CC stay, but she is tankier and less dmg?
Or say your idea.
