Ryan Romo was born in Dallas, Texas and moved with his family to California when he was young and attended grade school in Manhattan Beach. Ryan now lives in Highland Park, Texas and has been since he was a preteen. He attended junior high and high school in Dallas in the Highland Park school district and is still living there. Ryan is currently a

student athlete with interests that range from sports to travel. He just completed his freshman year of university and was taking summer school at Howard College where he was an outfielder on the Howard Hawk’s baseball team, which is one of the nation’s top junior college baseball programs and distinguished himself through his playing ability and his team spirit. With plans to major in business, Ryan used his time at Howard College to prepare himself for his academic future. He had a 3.7 GPA at Howard College and is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the international academic honors society for junior colleges. Now, Ryan is a student at Baylor University where he plays baseball for the Baylor Bears, one of the state's strongest baseball programs.

When Ryan Romo isn’t working on school work, you can typically find him on baseball field or at a gym in training for his athletic future. He started playing sports at a young age and baseball when he was four. He has received numerous awards and recognitions over the years, including the prestigious Connie Mac World Series All-Tournament Team. In addition to making the Varsity Baseball Team at his high school as a freshman, he has played on elite select teams, most notably D-Bat and Dallas Tigers.

Along with baseballe, Ryan is an equal opportunity lover of sports and played a number of sports growing up, including soccer, basketball, and football. In addition to his favorite sport, baseball, he loves golfing. He uses other sports to both add some variety to his life while simultaneously helping him train for baseball. The different skills used in all of his activities translate into making his baseball game stronger than before.

Ryan Romo also loves people and has a great sense of humor, something that everyone he knows can attest to. He enjoys spending time with his friends, family and two dogs. Ryan also tries to give back to the community when he’s not in school or playing baseball. He has volunteered in the past for organizations such as the YMCA, but mostly spends time helping with projects benefiting the local community. By giving back to his community, Ryan proves that there is more to life than just being a great baseball player.
