In the English language, used well, we still have …
a tool of extraordinary strength and flexibility.
– Robert Burchfield
Words are sometimes the only thing that can get your message over.
And they have to be exactly the right words assembled in exactly the right order. That’s why writing is one of the hardest tasks anyone can attempt.
The way you use words can make the difference between people understanding and believing your ideas or totally ignoring them. You need to get words on your side.
Fortunately, there are people who can help, either by doing the writing for you or by offering guidance on how to do it better yourself. I am one of those people.
My name is Roger Bridgman and I have been writing and editing since 1993. My recent background is in science and engineering, but I started life in advertising.
In these pages I tell you more about myself and offer some help with your writing.
