Hello, My name is Dennis.

I went to work for Rain Jet Corp. in Burbank, CA in May of 1968. I stayed with the company thru the acquisition by Hydro Rain and Hardie Irrigation. My last position was Technical Service Manager. I left the company in 1988.

In 1968 I began in the Fountain Shop and worked my way to Fountain Sales. In 1973 I transferred to the Sprinkler Engineering Department where I spent 2 years under Mr. Elliot Hathorn, learning Hydraulic Design. From there I moved into the Sprinkler Sales Department under Mr. Carl Frasier.

I have, in my possession, complete shop drawings of all of the Rain Jet Sprinklers, Fountains and Shower Heads. These drawings were given to me by Mr. John Hruby and were to be kept as back up information should anything happen to the original drawings.

There is not too much I do not know about the product line and I have access to a few of the products that were stored in a warehouse many years ago.

Regards,

Dennis,

My Name is Eric Elliott and I am the son in-law of Rafael Torres who you might remember back from your years at Rainjet. Currently Ralph and I now own the old Rainjet Fountain Line witch we purchased from Oase back in 2009. I ran across this post and showed it to Ralph and he said that he remembers you. After we purchased the company we started to look for new vendors to manufacture parts for us and after we located a local molding company we ended up finding out that Mel Maylee happens to be part of their management team, Small world!!!!! And if that's not enough it so happens that My father lives in Ahwahnee just over the hill from you in Coarsegold. I told Ralph that I would try to get in contact with you so if you would like to speak with him or Mel please feel free to give us a call and say that you would like to talk to Ralph.

Hi. I worked for Rain Jet about 1963-65 as draftsman/graphic designer having emigrated from England. I worked for RHPierce in Eugene for a while before moving down to L.A. and joining Rain Jet. I recall Mr. Frasier as the owner and his brother Carl. I was situated in the same office as a gent called Vern Mather who sadly died when I was there. A great company and excellent product range. I left to return to England as my parents were getting older. Great memories John Buckland
