Ron Mutascio

This will be our 3rd year with Ron and his firm handling our joint tax filings.

Our finance/tax situation is not super complicated but it's complex enough that we can't easily use software or rely on some storefront type walk-in service. We made the switch to a real professional CPA years ago and will never go back. We switched to Ron after our prior CPA shifted our work to his junior minions who dropped the ball in a few key areas.

Ron has been fantastic. My wife has mainly owned the properties we've lived in and she's always had non-trivial tax questions related to real estate. On my end I own part of a MA S-corp and the 50% shareholder status means I get a complex IRS K1 form each year. The variable K1 "income" also means I need to be super careful about staying on top of estimated quarterly tax pre-payments for the upcoming year. Ron is the person who makes all this a sane and sensible process.

I also travel a lot for work and prefer to work with professionals who can handle communication at a distance -- never an issue swapping signed PDFs with Ron or communicating via email when I'm not in BOS.

At least six years ago, my accountant that I used to do my returns for years, he told me he can't do my tax anymore. It was because I started multiple businesses that it was too complicated for him to file my returns. Luckily, I meet Ron at one of the business meeting. I was talking to him and tried to pick his brain see if he could be my potential accountant in the future that I was looking for. I was very impressed how knowledgeable and expert on taxes Ron is. He is a very sharp and knew exactly of my situations. I'm very pleased to have Ron does my tax. He is very kind, genuine, sincere, professional, efficient, and very thorough as well. Ron is an A+++ accountant. This was the first year we used Ron and I am so happy that we did! We got back so much more money then we have in the past.
