Just wanted to say these guys really suck.

They built a spa at my house in 2006 (long before I bought the house). They didn't finish the permit process. They left the permit open. Now the city is up my ass to close it. Pool Engineering refuses to help in this process. They won't make new documents, they won't give me info, they won't even look at the project.

I guess if it's not a new build and handing them a bunch of cash they just say NO I WONT TOUCH IT.

They don't stand behind their previous work and if you have a problem they're gonna tell ya TOO BAD.

As a professional pool contractor for almost 30 years I have to say, Pool Engineering is the best, the most knowledgeable in the industry and I won't even build off a plan that doesn't come from them. Just remember if you are building your own pool that you are competing with pool contractors, that do hundreds of pools, for the attention of the vendors and subs in the industry, so the vendors and subs that we use are going to give us contractors the better service because we bring them way more business. So take your experience with a grain of salt and realize that DIY'ers are not the target demo for companies that cater their business to contractors."

ignorant review...Mike P works there. company not responsive or knowledgeable. will not use again. No offense Mike but you are mistaken and very ignorant

I paid for engineering plans for my pool and had questions about those plans, but Pool Engineering told me that once I paid for the plans, their responsibility was over and in order to answer any questions about what they just sold me, I'd have to pay them additional $150 per hour. They just want to sell sell sell but as soon as you pay, they couldn't care less. My tip for future customers is to ask your questions before you pay! Better yet, hire another engineer who is willing to stand behind their plans!

Pool Engineering Inc was recommended to us by our structural engineer.
After several attempts of trying to get the calculations for our new pool, numerous emails sending out the plans that we had, phone calls and more emails, we were completely ignored..the emails went unanswered, phone calls ignored. We spoke with Greg several times, who stated that they are very busy but promised to get to the project asap. I will start over looking for another company. I am sure you will be losing a lot of clients with a careless service like this!

Extremely unprofessional engineering firm, very rude on the phone, slow to answer any proposals, inquiries or questions. They insist that you wait in their queue and are rude if you ask any questions at all. Their office girl "Shanna" is particularly unprofessional and rude, I am surprised that they even let her talk to prospective clients, she should be fired immediately. I would suggest that you find ANY other engineering firm to use, they are terrible. Any positive reviews they have are obviously fake inserted by their friends.

Hands down best structural engineering Co. In So Cal! Our family has been building in California for almost 25 years now We have used many engineering Co's over the years "trying to save a few bucks" we always come back to Pool Engineering because it gets done right the first time! Cheapest is not always the best when dealing with structural engineering
