Amazing attention to detail and more than dining. We went there for our anniversary and they did special touches for it and even included a gift at the end. This is a dining event a sort of “theatre of dining” with the 7 plus courses from the chefs menu. We were blown away by all the sensory details and the symphony of flavors was unique and incredibly delicious!

Most exquisite 7 course meal with wine pairings. Legitimate freshly prepared gourmet meal. A surprise at every turn. Over and above anything I have experienced. Expensive but ambiance, service and meal so worth it. You will be amazed. Truly. Best kept secret of the south.

Had a great birthday dinner experienced, service was top notch our waiter is very knowledgeable of all the dishes and drinks presented to us, all the food was delicious including all the sweets and the palate cleansing in between courses was very tasty and refreshing, we saw the chef in the kitchen which was a highlight of our experience as well! We are local so we will be for sure.

This was an exceptional meal from start to finish! Every bite was exquisite and we savored the meal. The service was very professional and met our every need. We were delighted to be invited into the kitchen to meet the Chef, Keith, his food is awesome and we highly recommend this restaurant.

We had an outstanding evening at Chez Phillipe. We are long time Memphians and have never been Before last night. Chef Keith Clinton has put together a great tasting menu, or you can have a four course meal. Quality of ingredients, presentation of plates, and above all taste cement this restaurants reputation as one of the best. I think the casual dinner may be intimidated by the setting (a very grand space), but don’t let it intimidate you. Check your calendar, make a reservation , and put on your Sunday best, and enjoy one of the best meals you’ll ever have. We look forward to coming back with friends!

Attended the Valentine special Dinner with fiance' the courses were delightful and made to perfection. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was wonderful. The main reason for 'good' rating on Value was the cost for wine servings. Otherwise it was wonderful.

Ethereal, exquisite, enrapturing experience. The ambiance was delightful and romantic. The food was delectable, tasty, and delicate. Each course was preceded by an exquisitely prepared Amuse-bouche that showcased our chef's culinary skill and creativity. It was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend it.

Exquisitely prepared food, served at a leisurely pace in a comfortable and intimate setting. The opposite of the too loud too rushed too crowded dining experience currently forced on diners by too many so called fine dining restaurants. Set aside the evening for this experience! Only slightly negative for us was the wine selection the night we came. While it was perfectly acceptable and paired well by the sommelier, the wines just were not on a par with the food. This is easily fixed and should not cause anyone pause to not come - the menu is a series of tiny masterpieces! Highly recommend

Food was amazing. This was definitely a first for my husband and I, but it was a wonderful evening. The whole service took about 2 hours for the 4 course meal, with many little extras between courses. The ambience was peaceful and very lavish. Definitely something to try at least once. The server was excellent (Byron?) and the chef was very nice when he came tableside (Jeff).

Restaurant music was great but at times overlapped with piano from bar. The tuna was excellent. Bread was pedestrian. Wait staff was first rate and delivered on a few special requests. Clearly the restaurant has the highest expectations and could get there with a few improvements.

Chez Philippe upholds the standard of Michelin Star level. Course after course-unique & playful on the palate. Teasing bites of umami & brightness that are downright sinful. My boyfriend and I had the opportunity to dine at Chez for the first time for New Years Eve dinner. There was a Prix Fixe menu with 7 courses, a take home treat of banana bread and a $75 wine pairing option. Each course was unique and delicious. My favorite was the diver sea scallops they were so soft and buttery cooked to perfection! There was a small hick up with the wine pairing that was supposed to come out with the second course, but our waiter Josh more than made up for it. Everything was delicious. Chez provided one of the best culinary experiences I’ve ever had!! I would highly recommend and we already can’t wait to return.

On regular nights, we have a pick and choose option (4 course) or our chef's tasting menu that comes as is (7 course). I would certainly recommend the Chez Philippe afternoon tea at the Peabody Memphis. But OpenTable, you made a big mistake by allowing us to book the afternoon tea at 6pm on 12/30/23. We arrived to the Peabody and were told that afternoon tea is only served till 3pm; we were not happy. But, luckily we had the following afternoon available so a very nice server called George changed our date and time for us. You need to double check your reservations before allowing clients to book. It would have been really upsetting if we were leaving town the next day.
