Any information or experience about the birthing here?

I would suggest scripts. This hospital is VERY negligent nd they wont even let you record your birth. Im sure because theyve been caught with malpractice. I would not have my kid here

There are many hospitals that are here in San Diego and the many counties that reach as far as the city limits of the City of Los Angeles for the many families that have been to the many kids testing and the surgeries that you may have had to have those are the ones which can be very Important and the ones for your health. With the many years that many hospitals had to cover over what made the back history not the great to read and the times when the hospital had problems. Hospitals are the places you can feel safe and to have great doctors but when you come to one place that is not the nicest and the atmosphere becomes very scary.
In many cities you may come across hospitals that have so many years and are still in operation with close hospitals that can be the next hospitals to replace them the smaller ones which hide and still in operation. From the many travels when you come to a certain and you have medical emergency the medical EMTs take you to the nearest hospital when you arrive, and you see the many people dressed not in hospital scrubs that seems to be very different hospital you get the same treatment. When you see the many instruments and you notice the many containers and the ones for dirty things and medical waste left wide open very close by. The room where they take you it looks like an old jail room with the few machines. Paradise Valley Hospital is nothing of a hospital and the staff is not dressed in regular scrubs and the staff is not what you call very welcoming they are more to leave the patients or to make sure they have shots.
Having a medical disability and the way I was treated and to see what other patients may have gone through and the treatment received from the ER doctors the attitudes were not very welcoming. Cleanliness of the Emergency Room was not kept clean and the rotation of the cleaners to have not seen the ones to have come to clean the emergency room. There are many things that you see when you come to the hospital is sanitary and the emergency room to be kept clean and well stocked the things that you would see in an emergency room is not what to expect in the Paradise Valley Hospital. From the overall treatment the whole experience is not what you call a hospital that is good for kids to see only one doctor and the rotation of nurses is not of great standards.
As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, the many places that I have seen, and the experiences is not what to expect from any hospital. Having a medical condition for anyone to be treated with disrespect. This is one hospital that I will not be returning to if I need emergency help or doctor's aid.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Nov 26, 2022Previous reviewThe many hospitals that are here in San Diego and the many out laying towns there are many that have some of the oldest history through the years the medical field has been changing here in California and the many states that have close ties to the state. When you talk about hospitals you think of the many large buildings where you come at nighjt6 when you're sick and have to get admitted to the hospital for an overnight stay or maybe two stays so that the many doctors can check on you while they run tests or do blood draws.
When you come to a hospital that has the large spacious grounds that has a large parking lot and set of gates that give the feeling that you have entered the castle valley when you come to Paradise Valley Hospital you have entered the large castle area that when you overlook the valley from on high you have entered the Paradise Valley Hospital. The many years of city of National City the years of the hospital Paradise Valley Hospital was in the year 1904 founder Ellen G. White helped in the purchase of the 54 acres of land of land to build a medical Facility now known as the Paradise Valley Hospital.
Paradise Valley Sanitarium, as it was originally called Paradise Valley Hospital that sits on 54 acres of land that was so dehydrated and the lack of rain was the many issues that kept the hospital from being built. Paradise Valley Hospital is known as the thirsty elephant the story of Whites land purchase and the subsequent establishment and the growth of the Hospital here in National City. Over a century later, Paradise Valley Hospital is a modern with up to date with more technology and 300 physicians, and 1000 staff members with campuses in National city and Chula Vista.
Paradise Valley Hospital was on the forefront of the Covid 19 pandemic that when it came upon San Diego and the many hospitals that had taken blows that the many hospitals had sent out calls for more doctors and more nurses having seen the many nurses and the many doctors that of being a survivor of Covid 19. Paradise Valley Hospital may have the years and the history of being a hospital that has been here since 1904 since the first start of a sanitarium in the city of San Diego Calif.
As a Yelp Elite reviewer and having gone and stayed at Paradise Valley Hospital yes, the hospital does show age and the and the rooms are small but the Hospital itself has some of the best staff and the Emergency room personnel that has worked so hard in many situations from when the pandemic that had come to San Diego. Paradise Valley Hospital has been one hospital that can stand as a Castle and still hold its own to protect the health and the lives of many. - 123148744Feb 26, 2024
I had an appointment with Pulmonologist Dr. Lim at 10:40 and waited for over an hour just to be seen for 10 minutes! This office is congested with too many patients and they seem to always run behind. If you can get a referral somewhere else please do so. Do not go to the Paradise Valley Hospital Outpatient clinic. They also referred me to a clinic for chest x-rays just for me to find that they don't do any x-rays at that location.

This hospital in National City, California is honestly not the best. The Emergency Room nurses and some doctors are just not professional. One time I was infected with E Coli stomach bacteria and when I was literally dying on the floor the nurses were very angry me and were telling me to "stop being so dramatic" and were telling me that if I didn't stop I was gonna get kicked out of the hospital. Then the doctor came and ordered some tests on me and once they realized I was really sick the nurses immediately started to take me serious. Also recently this past week I went to the ER again because I fainted and the nurses were just so irritated with me because they got mad that the paramedics brought me back. Also in the past I've been to their psychiatric unit and honestly it's not the best care. If you don't have love and compassion for human beings that are very ill and suffering then please don't even pursue a career in the medical field. The medical field needs professionals who love their job and have love and compassion for their patients not people who are scumbags and just do it for the money. I don't recommend this hospital.

I normally do not do reviews but my first experience with PVH was so great I had to do it. From the ICU floor to the regular floor, our experience with the staff made me believe in healthcare again not as a business but as a caring/healing facility. All the staff we met (housekeeping, security, RNs, CNAs, social workers, front desk, and random employee in the hallways) all tried to ask if you need help. The water/cookies in the lobby is so unusual for a hospital but the staff is what made this hospital a great experience. Thank you for helping our loved one's stay a pleasant one.

Have not been to this hospital for emergency purposes in a while. Though I live close by, i usually go to the VA or ucsd for treatment.
From the time I checked in for gout flare ( really bad) and from the time i checked out, everybody was very professional , prompt and kind. The service was great. The place is very much what you expect in a 5 star hospital. Very good indeed.Nursing staffs and the doc were great at tending to me esp Tim. Good job! Im proud to say , i live close to a great hospital. Keep doing good things!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Sep 6, 2022Previous reviewDeath Valley.. as we all know them.. my childrens father came here.. 32 year old with his whole life ahead.. he needed surgery and was in ICU for not even a day and they allowed him to leave.. he was not mentally there because of all the pain meds they gave him. They gave him Ativan and morphine before they allowed him to leave! he was not well enough to leave and if he insisted on leaving they should have called me his emergency contact. But they didn't.. they called 40 min after he left the hospital because they walked him out of the icu unit and out of the building, they also gave him homeless clothes and took his IVs out and allowed him to walk off with out anyone picking him up.. he was altered!!! He had life threatening conditions and needed to be taken care of and was failed by DEATH VALLEY as we all know them.
he died ONE block away from the hospital and ONE hour later after they allowed him to leave when they KNEW he was sick and needed this surgery. And they are still hiding medical records they are still acting as if "well he wanted to leave" HE DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON!! The worst part is I work in the hospital as well I have reviewed his chart with my doctor and nurse friends and we are all shocked on how this hospital allowed a person who is A&Ox1 who's fully loaded in Ativan and morphine who has tachycardia to leave! This hospital should be charged with murder but I'm sure they will get away with it like all the other murders they have done.. I have already called DEATH valley's hospitals risk management and they have snot followed up yet. Dr Patel dr hekmat and the nurse Kyle I hope you can live your life knowing you killed a father who had two young children
This hospital needs to close down.. so many people come here and never leave.. they die here because they are not taken care of.. EVERYONE knows this is the worst hospital in San Diego. - Yvonne W.Mid-City, San Diego, CA015Dec 28, 2023Updated review
The nurses down in the ER were very professional and caring especially the one guy named Jaime. I was admitted to the 5th floor and the nurse guy name Raul was very caring, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. I had a really good experience as a patient. The nurse responded to me immediately upon putting my call light on. The other nurse on the night shift was awesome too as well as the CNA's who cared for me. I received all of the care and treatment requirements during my hospital stay and yes, I will go back to Paradise Valley Hospital if I ever need to.

Dec 20, 2023Previous reviewI came in to the emergency room a few days ago and I am very impressed with the staff and care I received. The did everything that needed to be done to diagnose my problem and prescribed the right treatment for my condition. The Doctor was awesome. The hospital is clean. I will return there again if I ever need to. I've worked in hospital settings before, so I know a good one. Thanks Paradise Valley.

I was taken to this hospital around 10 days ago by ambulance I really wasn't my choice because I had not too great of experience with them in the past but this was an emergency I thought I was suffering from a very severe bladder infection and the nurses and doctors are treated me not very well they even told me to be quiet at one point that I'm waking up the other patience as I was an excruciating pain will they release me with complete kidney failure and gave me an antibiotic and I was admitted to Scripps Mercy the very next day I could have very well died they were not thorough at all they just wanted me out of there as soon as possible I do not recommend this hospital to anybody not even if it's emergency it's worth going a little bit further to a better hospital such a scripts Mercy I'm very overwhelmed by this!

The absolute worse 24 hour emergency hospital I have ever been to. Not only will you see and experience nurses, doctors, on call doctors with no empathy towards the sick, I doubt these morons even have a clue about the field of medicine. The way I look at, this is where the rejects of the medical field of San Diego end up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! You will thank me later.
