I love it!
MovieShopper28 - 5 out of 5 stars review7/27/2013I really enjoyed the movie. I think I liked the Knight of the Templar scenes the best. The little twist with who ended up being who in the end was really good as well. Great indie film that I think will end up being a cult classic!
Love the movie
StalkingSampson - 5 out of 5 stars review12/7/2013I've been following Sampson's career for a few years and I was so glad to see him step out on his own to write, direct, produce and star in his own film. Night of the Templar, an indie film, is a phenom and will become a cult classic. With top quality actors like Udo Kier, Norman Reedus, David Caradine and Sampson himself, the quality of this "indie" makes it a contender against Hollywood backed and endorsed flicks. The script is flawless and the dialog is quirky, serious, engaging and even humorous. The movie is shot on film which gives it that "classic" feel. Sampson knocks it out of the park!
FilmBuff20616 - 5 out of 5 stars review1/16/2015Back and forth in time, a lot of fun, LOVED it! Lots going on. Didn't know what to expect next. Crazy. Great job by cast. Very surprised of what it was, never expected any of it! The guy who made this had balls. And that's a fact.
"I'm not you're Lord, I am your Brother"
TheManFromSkiathos - 4 out of 5 stars review3/22/2013Just seeing David Carradine with a sword in his hand is worth the price. Throw in Norman Reedus from 'The Walking Dead' and the cool factor is way up there. This is a fun film with cool sword play and a twist on the fantasy genre. Director/Star Paul Sampson does a good job in all departments and brings to the screen some great looking period footage on a limited budget. The movie never takes itself too seriously and that's one of it's strengths. Kick off your shoes, grab some popcorn, and go for the ride!
A fun film!
