If I could give them no stars , I would. Been trying to collect a claim from them for months! Unexpected open heart surgery and had to cancel my trip. Submitted documents multiple times , myself and my surgeon and they keep requesting the same thing over and over. They are doing it to wear you down so you just say the hell with it and eat it. You can't get anyone on any of the phone numbers and IF they call you back it comes up unknown from another country. My contact Person is Jen Jablonski. Does she even exist? Called Nation Union Fire who owns the company and the number is no longer active. Scam scam scam.

Their flight insurance product as its are sold on Expedia require extensive supporting documentation when a customer wants to cancel a flight (in my case I wanted to either cancel or reschedule a returning flight). So when purchasing their flight protection ensure that you can produce such documents if the time comes, otherwise there isn't much value in their product.

I would not even give 1 star to this company. It's such a scam. I bought their insurance to cover for any interrupted incidents for a round trip flight. Coming back to US, the airlines overbooked my flight and I was given another flight. This significantly delayed all my plans and gave me a lot of inconvenience. I called the travel insurance to file for reimbursement due to trip interruption and I was told I was only covered for one flight (leaving) ONLY and Not for the entire trip. Very misleading because I bought a return flight NOT one way flight. I would not recommend this insurance!!

For a company that withdraws funds from your checking account for something you signed up for years ago, you would think that they would send annual statements, online statements, etc. I had been getting quarterly withdrawals from my US Bank account listed as NUF and it was very difficult to get an actual phone number; they are somehow underwriters for AIG. So the number that I googled brought me to AIG customer service. AIG was actually kind enough to do the research to find the actual phone number which is 800-209-3515. When calling to cancel the policy (which was under an old address and something that was attached to my US bank account from 13 yrs ago) they try to talk you into keeping the policy by reciting the benefits of the policy. I got cut off from the first representative; the 2nd representative gave me the same spiel. I finally got my policy canceled.

This is a front for AIG TRAVEL INSURANCE ,which is the biggest rip off ever.
Do not buy this Insurance when buying airline tickets . They will not help you with any claim . It is a Joke.
They keep you on hold for over a hour when you call in to get help. They tell you to scan and send documents that apparently they say they did not receive.
I think it is just a answering service that AIG pays the service to say , Please keep holding till we can take your call. When I did ask to speak to the supervisor, I got this.
"THE SUPERVISOR IS ON ANOTHER CALL ,PLEASE KEEP HOLDING"
A hour went by and still no help. When I finally got to speak with the one & only supervisor that was working , I was told someone else would have to review my file. She could not approve it. This company is a joke. They pay people to answer your call and then let you hold as long as your willing. I will keep exposing this company .Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Marshathe F.San Francisco, CA021Apr 20, 2020

SCAM. I am helping my elderly and legally blind mother with her finances, and I discovered a charge from this company for $9.99 each month going back at least 5 years. My mom thought it was the charge for her checking account, which makes no sense as she's has a "premier" account with Bank of America and is not charged for her account. I will be reporting this company to our state's insurance agency. By the way my mom does not use her account for anything other than writing physical checks, so it's hard to know how her account was compromised.

I have never talked to anyone or read any literature about this company. Till today i never even heard of them.
I started getting purchase notifications via text. $2......$5.....$175.
Immediately called my bank put a stop to this scam and made a claim.
Puzzling to me is where did they get my card info. Oh well, I'll have a new one in a few days.
"Thieving company" it is.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Rebekka G.Los Angeles, CA1401May 29, 2018
This company stole $1869 from me by automatically debiting my bank account after I apparently agreed to try their insurance over the phone (which I would never do on purpose, I already had fine insurance). US Bank facilitated this "offer" and Nat'l Union Fire Insurance went ahead and debited my account monthly under the guise of Nuf Hp Insr888. I had no idea what Nuf Hp Insr888 was until I researched online, having no idea I'd ever signed up for this so-called "insurance." I demand my money back. Anyone else been scammed by these spineless con artists? Shame on this company, and shame on US Bank.
