Murder in Mind

Nicholas Lyndhurst

A series of one-off psychological thrillers featuring a host of famous faces. Each tale explores just what makes apparently normal people turn to murder.

Anthology series Murder in Mind takes viewers into the mind of a killer.  Packed with breathtaking twists and turns, the action is mostly followed through the eyes of the murderer.  There are episodes where a murder seems totally without motive and others where sympathy is even shown for the murderer.

The series is unique in that each episode has a completely new set of characters and storylines.

Simon (Jamie Theakston) and Terry (Adam Faith)

Guest stars have included Nicholas Lyndhurst as a landlord from hell; Jamie Theakston as a city dealer who hires a contract killer, played by Adam Faith; Rob Brydon as a husband who murders his wife's lover; Gary Kemp as an escaped convict, whose attempts to start a new life are thwarted when the past catches up with him; and EastEnders' Michael Greco as a security guard, talked into killing his lover's husband;

Other notable names who've appeared in the show include Diana Rigg, Dennis Waterman, Tara FitzGerald, Pauline Quirke, Phil Davis, Tim Healy, Keith Allen, Ian Kelsey, Helen Baxendale, Steve McFadden, John Thomson and Denise Van Outen.

"These are riveting, good yarns with chunky, challenging parts for major actors," says series producer Paul Knight. "Everyone gets a touch of the voyeur about a juicy murder, but there is a warning in the title - these are strong meat and not for the overly squeamish!"
