    Pros

You have a job. If you follow the guidelines of the job you will have job security because people are not lining up to work there. You will make decent money but the hours and time you give up are not worth it to most.

    Cons

24 hours a day, 365 a year, and work every holiday. Christmas Day is the worst! On this day you are expected to be in the store at 6am, maybe leave at 3/4 for an hour if everyone shows up for work, then be back at 5/6 and work until 10/11pm. You must be back at 6:30am the next day and cook for 7 hours, then complete manager duties. The employee issues you encounter are relentless. They have an associate hotline number for associates to call and make complaints. You will never have control over your store. You will be expected to attend meetings every Thursday at 4pm. Usually you will drive at least 30 minutes one way. I worked for this company for 3 years and it was the worst mistake i made in a long time! For young educated people, dont make a mistake by looking at just the money, like i did.

          Pros

If you like handwriting orders and calling them out and hoping that the cook marked what you said correctly then you will probably like this job. Small space working environment also means everything is close by. There are a lot of regulars and it's usually nice to get to know them and see familiar faces. You get an employee meal each shift. The higher ups were nice, I liked them.

          Cons

Toxic work environment, can make better money elsewhere, old fashioned system, as a server you are relying on the cook to correctly mark your order and the company renames everything instead of just saying what the item is. For example, if a customer wants cheese you would say covered instead of simply saying cheese. You have to also keep up with dishes as a server, which can pile up very quickly in this sometimes fast paced environment. Also small space working environment

        Interview Tips

Feel free to post any interview questions you might be asked and I’ll help you compose an effective response :)

Hi, I'm not necessarily looking for interview tips but I have a question. I went through 2 stages of interview and was even asked to provide my address to send equipment (it was a remote job) only to get a rejection email 3 days later. They had my hopes high and it was shattered. What could I have done wrong ?

Laid off last summer. Got a “for-now” job, but I hate it and I need to leave. Interview scheduled for Tuesday. I’m a little under experienced, but I know I can do a great job. I get so nervous and bomb interviews at places I really want — any advice to keep calm and navigate some of the more technical stuff I’d have to learn?

How to get interviews 2 months 75+ applications and 3 interviews. Have applied for appropriate positions and keep getting moving forward with others with closer related backgrounds. I have done the jobs for a different company. Then I see the position posted again a week later! 30+ yrs in management and can't even get a response. Last job was a Regional Manager and I can't even get a store manager interview.
