City of Neenah

May 20

  • Trespassing, 200 block of Clybourn Street. A caller reported having continual problems with a female walking through his garden, stepping on flowers and pulling weeds and flowers out. He has video of the incidents.
  • Ordinance violation, 2400 block of Progress Court. A caller reported witnessing illegal dumping and also has surveillance video.

May 21

  • Reckless driving, West Winneconne Avenue and Harrison Street. A caller reported seeing a vehicle being driven erratically, swerving, weaving in and out of traffic and speeding. The driver also ran a red light.
  • Accident, Stanley Street and South Commercial Street. A driver swerved to miss hitting a dog and hit a pole.

May 22

  • Abandoned vehicle, 1200 block of Primrose Lane. A caller reported a vehicle has been parked facing the wrong direction on the street for two days. The owner was located. He stated he had been called out of town and forgot about the car. He moved the vehicle into his driveway.
  • Animal, 600 block of Jefferson Street. A caller stated that while mowing his lawn he was finding excrement from the neighbor’s dog. The neighbor finds it amusing and is laughing at him from his front porch. The caller wanted the dog owner informed of the ordinance and to pick up after his dog.

May 23

  • Parking complaint, 500 block of North Commercial Street. A caller wanted two vehicles ticketed in a lot where they are not supposed to be parked. The business owner was calling a tow company to have them removed.
  • Crime prevention, 1200 block of Tullar Road. An officer observed the high school had been toilet papered overnight. No one was found on the property.

May 24

  • Ordinance violation, 700 block of Higgins Avenue. A caller reported a neighbor shooting at birds and rabbits with a BB gun. The officer did not see anyone shooting a BB gun upon arrival, but spoke with a male who stated an air compressor line popped.
  • Theft, 1100 block of Gilbert Street. A caller reported having some items stolen out of his vehicle.

City of Menasha

May 14

  • Ordinance violation, 900 block of Seventh Street. While on patrol, an officer noticed a party shooting a bow and arrow repeatedly in the air, then the arrow would come back and stick in the ground. Contact was made with a female and explained the ordinance of shooting/throwing missiles. She was informed of an archery range at Memorial Park in Appleton.
  • Disturbance, Main Street. A caller reported an after-the-fact disturbance in which a male walked through the wet concrete and was yelling and swearing at him. Contact made with male, who was verbally warned for disorderly conduct.

May 15

  • Damage to property, Appleton and Midway roads. A party reported damage to his vehicle that occurred while he was driving.

May 16

  • Fireworks, 800 block of London Street. Officers were dispatched for loud fireworks. Upon arrival, an officer observed bottle rockets next to a side door. Contact was made with a male who stated he did not know that he could not discharge fireworks in the city. He was warned for discharge of illegal fireworks.
  • Retail theft, 1200 block of Plank Road. A caller stated a female was in the store trying to steal alcohol. The woman was subsequently arrested for shoplifting.

May 17

  • Noise complaint, 1000 block of Lucerne Drive. Officers dispatched for a loud music complaint could hear music throughout the entire third floor common area. Contact was attempted at the door with no answer or movement heard inside.
  • Disturbance, De Pere and Seventh streets. A party reported that during a road rage incident he was struck in the face. He identified the defendant who admitted to punching the man. He was processed and released.

May 18

  • Alcohol, London Street and Lucerne Drive. While investigating a suspicious situation, a defendant was found operating a vehicle while impaired and was arrested for OWI, first offense. Another party was also arrested for fourth-offense OWI for operating the vehicle shortly before.
  • Lost and found, 200 block of Olde Pulley Lane. Three packages were found by a postal service delivery person. All three belonged to addresses on Marina Place. All three had been opened and rummaged through. One party found there was something missing from their package.

May 19

  • Damage to property, 2100 block of Plank Road. A caller witnessed at least two males chop down a tree at Barker Farms Park. The suspects got into a van and left the area after the caller chased them away. The tree was left in the parking lot. The caller had pictures of the suspects. Ultimately, three male juveniles suspects were identified and two of them were spoken to.
  • Damage to property, 600 block of Broad Street. A party reported a group of boys had thrown a rock through a window at the bar. The juveniles were located and contact was made with a father after his son admitted to throwing the rock through the window. The father agreed to replace the window.​​​​​​​

May 22

  • Assist citizen, 1700 block of Oakridge Court. A resident reported four unauthorized credit card charges after setting up auto pay to make an electronic payment through what he thought was WE Energies.
  • Suspicious person, 2600 block of Forestview Court. Someone was reportedly trying to break in but resulted in being an actual medical issue, and the male was transported to the hospital.

May 23

  • Drugs, 800 block of Adelaide Road. Report of possible drug activity in the area, information relayed to the drug unit.

May 24

  • Animal, 1200 block of Home Avenue. A resident called the police department extremely upset and yelling about a barking dog in the neighborhood. An officer will contact the owner, as they were not home at the time of the incident.
  • Drugs, 1000 block of Home Avenue. A resident had a drug overdose, originally claimed accidental but later determined intentional heroin overdose. Person was transported to hospital. The incident was reported to the drug unit.

May 25

  • Disturbance, 900 block of Irish Road. Two intoxicated individuals were in a physical altercation. One was arrested for disorderly conduct, and the other was referred to the district attorney’s office on the same charge.

May 26

  • Damage to property, 2100 block of Winchester Road. A driver was cited for driving through grass at business and doing doughnuts.

May 27

  • Drugs, 2200 block of Northern Road. There was a report of people living in a storage unit. No one was found inside, but drugs and paraphernalia were present and confiscated. The drug unit was notified.

May 28

  • Juvenile, Cold Spring and Sand Pit roads. Several juveniles were cited for underage drinking after officer stopped to check on a vehicle at that location.
  • Drugs, 1300 block of Sunset Lane. A resident overdosed on heroin and was transported to hospital. The drug unit was notified.
