Hello! I’m Melissa Roberts, the founder of Melissa Roberts Interiors! Thank you for taking a moment to visit.

My team of designers and I focus on crafting cozy, welcoming environments that embody the essence of home for busy families in The Woodlands, TX, and beyond. My team combines classic and contemporary aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the world that God created for us. In every design, incorporating abundant organic textures, layers, and earthy hues creates a curated look specific to the client’s needs. Pinterest and Instagram are great for inspiration, but we prefer to give our clients something unique rather than a project you have seen before.

My design journey stemmed from a strong desire to help people like yourself curate a living space perfectly tailored to their family’s needs. The ultimate goal is to create a sanctuary where you can unwind, connect, and cherish moments with your loved ones.

Brookdale Senior Living Makeover

Jane and Davis Hensley adored the sunroom in their previous home. When they moved into their apartment, they missed the warmth and tranquility it provided. That’s when I stepped in, ready to recreate that feeling in their current living room. I began by replacing their dark, heavy furniture with lighter pieces, opting for softer hues and organic textures to brighten the atmosphere. I added airy, floor-to-ceiling drapes that gently framed the window to expand the space visually. Natural accents like woven baskets and nature-inspired artwork added that final layer, fully transforming the room into their very own personal sunroom haven.

The bulky AC unit was a real design hurdle, but I wasn’t about to let it ruin the ambiance. I commissioned a custom-built cabinet that seamlessly concealed it, creating a clean, uninterrupted aesthetic.

Recent Projects

Rice Boulevard

This nursery was created for a baby boy named Merrill. Momma wanted a room that didn’t scream baby, but instead a room that fits the little boy as he grows. She asked for “camp meets Americana.” This family thinks outside of the box and let us have creative freedom with the space.

Our Home

When we purchased this home, we loved that the backyard was a blank slate to work with. We hired Cory Adams to design our pool and patio. He nailed the design and executed our list of must-haves and wants!

Silver Jade Court

Initially, we walked into this home and met the loveliest couple in a home that was dated, had odd angles, and was a bit dark. From the entry to the living room, we updated the paint, cabinetry, lighting… the works.

Ash Street

We transformed this entire 90’s home that had terrible angles, little functionality, and lacked character. We went to the drawing board, knocking down walls, reconfiguring spaces, and curating a simple design.

N. Lazy Meadow

We integrated a minimalist design by layering organic materials, natural wood stains, and mixed metals. Statement lighting was used to add drama to each space with simplicity in mind.

Elite Wellness Medspa

Elite Wellness purchased a historic building in Beaumont that needed a commercial design facelift. They had a clear vision of the branding which included rose gold, pink, and silver.

Pine Wood Meadows Lane

Surprising these three kiddos with room makeovers was so fun! One sister wanted all pink, while the little sis demanded no pink! Brother has all the sports memorabilia that he wanted on display. Children’s rooms have become a favorite!

Ossineke Drive

Without any major renovations, we were able to give this family a sense of peace by integrating blue tones, layered pieces, and new furniture just in time for the holidays.

Lodge Road TN

The A-frame dreams are made of, y’all! This was a diamond in the rough, and I snatched it up sight unseen. Nick and I spent several months remodeling this project in Tennessee, all the way from Texas! It’s located on beautiful Watts Bar Lake in Spring City, TN.

Fairway Villa – Rayburn

Growing up, I frequented Lake Sam Rayburn with my family. Now that I have a family of my own, I wanted to create the same memories with them. Nick and I decided to purchase a condo, remodel it, then share it with other families via short-term rentals.
