Mr. Marquis Deon Harmon (Tink), 19, departed this life suddenly on Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg, Va.

He was predeceased by his father, Marquis Coleman; grandparents, Dorothy Bowling Wilson and Willie Branch Wilson Sr.

Marquis was employed at Southern Bell Thrift Store, G&S Janitorial Service and Valero. He was also a big fan of the NFL Dallas Cowboys.

Left to cherish his many memories is his mother, Kimberly Harmon (Corey); son, Elijah Marquis Morse; brothers, Ra-kem Harmon, Marcus Harmon, Mahlik Harmon, Rashad Harmon, Salil Neimo, Marquis Coleman and Jahiem Coleman; sisters, Rashonda Harmon and April Williams; maternal grandparents, Brenda Simpson (James) and Raleigh Harmon (Tina); paternal grandparents, George Coleman and Joyce White Coleman; special grandmoms, Gail Clanton and Irene Giles; great-grandmother, Mary Harmon; eight aunts (devoted), Pamela Sample, Felicia Pratt, Quanisha Smith and Shamicka Clanton; 11 uncles; a host of cousins (devoted), Dajah Kerns, De-Vontay Pratt, Antywone Wilson, Karl Wilson, Brandon Wilson and Quashawn Smith; other relatives and friends, among the friends, Monique Morse the Heavy Hittaz ball team, Mike Jones, Walter Bonds, Sammie Beasley, Gary M. Clanton, Gary T. Clanton and Sharik Smith.

A celebration of life will be conducted noon Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Zion Apostolic Christian Memorial Temple, where Bishop Samuel E. Wright Sr. is the pastor; Dr. Antonio A. Tucker Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Branch Family Cemetery, Chesterfield, Va. Public viewing will be from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, at the Petersburg Chapel-Joseph M. Johnson and Son Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence of his mother at 11 a.m. on the day of the service.
