Marion Lee Davis, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, November 30, 2015.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mr. Davis was born in Rome, GA. to the late Elder and Mrs. Jason and Mary Nell Fuller Davis. He retired from the United States Army, where he served as a RN. He was an amateur radio operator with a call of WD4PEL and a member of the Columbia County amateur radio club.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Earline Strickland Davis, his parents and his sister, Laura Frances Howell.
Survivors include two daughters, Irma Sherrill and husband Dude of Montgomery, AL and Joy Mosley and husband, Ricky of Gulf Shores, AL; two grandchildren, Rachael Mosley and Jason Sherrill; two great-grandchildren, Jason G. and Kade Sherrill; one sister, Mary Ellen Davis, Maryville, TN; and his devoted caregiver, Ken Ashburn.
