Manchester Tank, a subsidiary of McWane, is a privately held manufacturer of low-pressure vessels for propane, air, refrigerant and industrial applications in North America and Australia. It has grown from seven employees and one product line in 1946, to an international company of over 1,000 employees and a broad range of products. North American operations include six manufacturing facilities and numerous distribution points throughout the continent, providing timely delivery to local customers. Australian operations include one manufacturing plant and a dedicated sales force, serving markets in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Rim. Its corporate headquarters is located in Franklin, Tenn. Its product line includes virtually all low-pressure tank families. Manchester Tank sells to OEM customers, distributors and mass-market customers.
