I had a urgent tire repair that got fixed quickly. This business was very friendly and super efficient from start to finish. I recommend this business and the price was very reasonable.

I had an appointment to have my SUV inspected. I arrived a little early. The guys started checking in my vehicle right away. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Made me feel very comfortable and at home. Total inspection was completely done in less than 35 minutes and I was on my way. Great customer service.

My truck was sent here by a different repair shop for suspension work. Upon receiving my truck they managed to find other verified issues, not just markups like other places do, and have them properly repaired. The only delay in work was caused to the ongoing parts shortages and shipment time. Leete managed their time and resources well even when the other repair shop was failing to assist. Additionally, they saved the good parts I had replaced for me to collect rather than the other untrustworthy shop. The team at Leete was fantastic with their communication skills, timeliness and professionalism. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Over the past few months my husband and I have had some unfortunate luck with our truck. Leetes fixed our truck in a timely manner, eased our stress and kept us updated the entire time! The team at Leetes is one of kind! I truly cannot say enough good things about the staff and their work. Let me be clear- I did not chose to receive service here after an initial interaction with them that I did not feel comfortable with. I will explain below.

I sent my wife in here with my truck since I had to be at work and didn't have time to bring it in. My power steering pump was making a very loud rattling noise and needed to be diagnosed quickly. Based on the Yelp reviews, I thought this was a safe place to bring it to. I was fully prepared to pay a reasonable diagnostic fee and whatever the repair cost would be. Usually, most places have a nominal fee to diagnose the issue. Some places even apply that fee towards the cost of the repair. Not this place. It is $115 dollars TO LOOK AT THE VEHICLE! This isn't San Francisco or Los Angeles! This is Petersburg, VA! The dealership we go to doesn't even charge a rate this high. This fee DOES NOT get applied towards the cost of parts or labor for the repair.

When my wife left without allowing them to diagnose for such an outrageous fee, I called the place personally to talk to one of the shop managers. He informed me that this is "the fee they charge" and they have no control over. It is set by the owners. When I questioned him why the fee was just as high, if not higher than a local dealership, he responded with, "we do dealership quality work." This is subjective at best and it is most likely a fair statement to say they most likely DO NOT use OEM parts for repairs, which would NOT be "true dealership quality." The service manager then agreed to "waive" parts of the diagnostic fee. My question is why? Why not just charge a fair price to begin with, instead of having to get into a verbal argument in order to get a fair price to have the vehicle looked at? Bad business. I was there to get the vehicle fixed.

I sent my wife in here with the intent of having the vehicle diagnosed and repaired here. I fully understand places need to make money and am not against this in any way- especially when they are performing a service that I cannot perform for myself. But to quote an outrageous fee up front just to look at it, before the price of parts and labor, gave me a very unsteady feeling about having service done here. We decided to take it elsewhere, where it was diagnosed for free that day and repaired.

To add to this story- I called this place a few months back to get a quote to have some steering rack bushings replaced on my truck. I already had the parts and was fine with paying whatever the "shop rate" was for labor only. I am not sure if it was the same service manger, but the guy on the phone quoted me over $600 for labor to have this completed. Keep in mind, I had the same service performed on another vehicle in CA for $233 and had receipts to back it up. Needless to say, I took my truck elsewhere and had the work performed an another local shop for $174.

Moral of the story- be fair, honest, and don't take advantage of people. If you charge fair and honest prices to begin with, you will do far more business. It is sad some people don't understand this side of the business model.

I'd advise to stay away.

I've been mostly pleased with the quality work these guys perform. I've been here on multiple occasions, from oil changes to state inspections. The guys at the front desk seem friendly and eager to help, although somewhat dismissive at times when they are busy.

I've come here first thing in the morning (highly recommend) to get work done and usually I'm driving away after an hour or so, depending on the service. Leete has a high business volume, so if you try to get work done in the afternoon, just expect to wait a little longer. If you find yourself waiting they have a waiting area with coffee, reading material and a television - just what you need to pass the time.

This shop is much better than any other you'll find in Petersburg - give them a shot.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! While passing through the area via I-95, I got a flat tire. Spent over 90 minutes from roadside calling various tire centers from Fredericksburg to Petersburg for a replacement for my Mercedes (not a standard replacement tire). Not only did Leete Tire have a replacement, but EXCELLENT service. They were quick to replace, offered a comfortable, clean environment, and the entire staff was warm and gracious. If you are looking for a trustworthy tire/auto center - look no more! Donnie Clay was my first/main contact and top notch! Leete Tire and Auto Center - as good as it gets!

The only place I will take my car. Prices are very fair and the work quality has been great each time. The staff is friendly, very willing to work with you.

They've also been very timely in completing their work. They've always finished ahead of schedule and call immediately when the car is ready for pickup.

Truly I wouldn't trust anywhere else in Petersburg or the surrounding areas. The four and five star reviews Leete of Petersburg have received are very well deserved.

Let me start off by saying that I am usually skeptical of mechanic shops. Well, this isn't your regular grease monkey business. Leete tire is knowledgeable, courteous, and fair. They might not be the cheapest around town, but they offer top notch maintenance for reasonable prices. I even experienced service that was above and beyond what I actually paid for. Donnie was very accommodating and patient when it came to my Durango.

These guys are great. I work for a local dealership. We require nearly immediate turnaround on state inspection and they are always prompt to act and provide an excellent turnaround time, service and product. Brian and Donnie at the front desk are always happy to assist.
