After my initial visit, I never thought I'd really have to go back to the dentist again-- until one day I felt an awful crack and my filling came out. Back I went to Dr. Hirsch. Even though it was so long ago he remembered my last visit and how hard of a job that was. He immediately got down to work. I was in and out in about an hour.

So that job was about 2 months ago and recently I went back for another annoying drill-and-fill. Dr. Hirsch was exceptionally quick as usual. No nonsense, just get in and get it done. I do wish that he would explain some things though (like if he told you how bad something looked on x-ray you would expect him to show you so you can see how serious it was going to be) but I do feel confident and trust in him to work on my teeth.

I have to say I had such an excellent experience. I came in for a check up, had some x-Rays done, and a cleaning. My cleaning was thorough, scheduling was not stressful, and the location is perfect.

Naturally, visiting the dentist isn't relaxing or never uncomfortable. However, Dr. Hirsch was down to earth, had excellent communication, professional, and thorough. He did not pressure me to come back (left it up to me). He took the liberty of booking my next appointment in 6 months. My experience was the best experience I have ever had in a dentist office. I will most definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Well, I come in and ring the bell, no one answer the door, called on the phone, went straight to dial tone

After years of going to this dentist, I have come to realize that I have not been receiving adequate care.  I had a root canal years ago on tooth # 30 after repeatedly asking for a crown he put in a large filling which I had to replace myself with glass ionomer cement which I bought on amazon.  I had a horrible issue with tooth #18 which required a root canal and that was referred out in a timely manner but again, he refused to do a crown and put in a large filling which failed.  After several back and forth conversations, this man did not fix the issue.  He told me he could not do a crown as the tooth is too short. The story behind this seems that my health plex insurance gives this man a fixed monthly allowance.  He has no incentive to actually do any work.  I have moved to Florida and have a new plan.  The tooth this man claimed was too short was no problem at all for the new dentist I have.  The tooth he did years ago with the large filling is now getting the crown Dr. Hirsch should have done.  Money was never an issue.  I would have paid for this myself it's just that this was the guy on my plan and he never suggested it.  Fortunately, my new dentist is also correcting the other problems neglected by Dr. Hirsch.  Not providing care because you have a crappy contract with an insurance company is not the fault of the patient and should never prevent adequate care.  I'm glad to be rid of this office.

Also, as a rule it would take you about three weeks to get ANY appointment. Even for an urgent issue.

Dr. Hirsch is an outstanding dentist. He is very gentle and sensitive to your comfort level while he is working. He is very friendly and relaxed and takes his time with you. My x-rays an cleaning were very thorough and efficient and he saw me right on time. I will definately be back!
