Hardin, Larry D., of Wildwood, Missouri was born August 3, 1949 in Centralia, Illinois, to Robert D. and Dorothy (nee Goebel) Hardin, and entered into rest, Saturday, February 4, 2012, at his residence, in Wildwood, Missouri, at the age of 62 years, 6 months and 1 day.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two (2) siblings, Robert Hardin and Donna Ewing, and mother-in-law, Josephine Souers.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (nee Souers) Hardin, (Married July 9, 1982 in Saint Louis, Missouri), two (2) children, John M. and Katie M. Hardin, of Wildwood, Missouri, four (4) siblings, Louis (Alison) Hardin, Cathy (Micheal) Reilly, Teri (Keith) Mack, Lisa (Jerry) Sumpter, three (3) brothers-in-law, Jim Souers, Tom Evans, and Steve Souers, two (2) sisters-in-law, Denise (Mike) Gualdoni and Dawn (Brian) Heidbrink, son-in-law of Melvin and Donna Souers, and many other relatives and friends.

Larry loved reading all types of books and authors and discovering art in all of its forms. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time listening to a wide range of music on his Ipod from symphonies to country songs to modern singers. Larry was passionate about golf for the last 12 years of his life and never missed an opportunity to get out and play. He always appreciated the outdoors and nature through long walks. However, time spent with his family is what he cherished the most, and he will be dearly missed.
