Kentwood, City of

When I was told that I was being sent to Kentwood, I was nervous. For starters, I am NOT a country kind of person. I have nothing against barn animals, per se, but they tend to attract bugs and I can't go there.

Anyway, Kentwood is a nice enough place. I only spent a few hours there and a local told me, and a friend I was traveling with, not to stop on someone else's property because we'll be shot. I can't tell if she was serious or not, but she got her point across. There's a whole lot of woods and a whole lot of deer and apparently hitting them with one's car is something that happens pretty often. I even saw a dead one on the side of the road. Lovely.

Someone else told me where Britney Spears' family lives in town, but I took their word for it. All in all, Kentwood isn't a bad town, but I doubt that I could live there. I'm a city girl and I don't like it when things get to quiet.
