They don't cover how to draw facial features, proportions or clothing in the style at all, but instead have you draw an anime warrior guy. The rest of the book is the same amount of Step 1: draw circle; step 2: draw the rest of the picture

This book gives one a few ideas as far as a few facial expressions and a few poses but not much. It lacks beginning structure of sketching.
