Very sad to learn of the passing of Mike Green, one of my fellow list candidates when I was elected in 2014. I’ve never publicly said this before, but when I resigned from UKIP in 2018, I offered both him & Phil Henrick to give up my seat in their favour. They both declined #RIP
I remember the days when Botox was a taboo subject - Nowadays, when I mention it during a conversation, no one raises an eyebrow.

I was truly delighted to learn that #Somaliland’s . has won this year’s Templeton Prize. Edna truly is one of finest people that I have ever met. If you haven’t heard of ‘the Muslim Mother Theresa’, then it’s high time to find out more about this most incredible lady.

Really not enjoying twitter anymore to be honest, so will most likely delete my account tomorrow, and stick to Instagram, which seems to me, to be a far happier place to be. It was fun.

Cllr. Simon Cronin once knocked on me, unknowing who I was, & I liked him immediately. We always happily disagreed on ‘that issue’. A true eccentric, we’d always have a pint after Worcs. Regulatory Board meetings & laugh together. He was honest, discreet & trustworthy #RIP

On #VEDay 78, I think of my Aunt Lena taking my 9 y.o. mother to celebrate outside Buckingham Palace. A lady chatted to them about the ‘the war being over’, but mum snapped at her saying that her’s wasn’t, as 2 brothers were fighting in the Pacific. Thankfully they both came home

A most magnificent start to the day. I genuinely can’t remember the last time that someone blocked me on here. That’s the trouble with some people - Always ready to give it, but never able to take it.

‘Zadok the Priest’ really is the most amazing piece of music. It always makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. I am so looking forward to tomorrow. #GodSaveTheKing

I met this gent last week. As I often say, our bland world needs more eccentrics. Good luck to him. How my old African grey parrot ‘Charlie Farley’, would’ve loved to have perched on that. #moustache

Take it from me - There’s no better way to celebrate the long life of the great #HarryBelafonte, than by dancing like no one is watching, to the magnificent ‘Jump in the Line’. In the words of the great maestro himself: ‘Hoist those skirts a little higher’! May he rest in peace.

I’m privileged to have had done amazing things & met many interesting people over the course of my life. Yet, 11 years ago, I accomplished my greatest achievement thus far: Finishing the 2012 #LondonMarathon. My very best wishes to everyone competing today - You’ve got this!

A master of his trade & like Tommy Cooper, Ronnie Barker & Les Dawson, he was an expert in the art of facial expression. His ability to be so ‘dead pan’, combined with his fantastic sense of timing, exactly underline your words… Regrettably, there will never be another like him.
