Message from Chief Hibbs and the Jacksonville Police Department

I want to thank you for checking out our website and hope that you find the information helpful. Our department has a total of 44 sworn police officers, 10 civilian personnel, 4 TSO, 1 auxiliary officers, 4 code enforcement officers and 2 civilian chaplains that all work together to provide the citizens of Jacksonville a professional department that they deserve.

The men and women of the Jacksonville Police Department have dedicated their lives to accomplish our simply stated mission: "The goal of the Jacksonville Police Department is to ensure the safety and security of all residents of the Jacksonville, Arkansas community, working together with stakeholders in our neighborhoods and in city government to preserve a high quality of life for all."

It is our goal to deliver a quality service to the public that will instill faith and confidence in our department.
