John T. Luzzo
John T. "Jack" Luzzo was a Civil Division judge of the 17th Judicial Circuit Court in Florida. He was appointed by former Governor Bob Graham in 1985. He was re-elected in 2010 to a six-year term that ended on January 2, 2017.[1][2][3][4]
Education
Luzzo received his B.S.J. (Journalism, with a business administration minor) and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida in 1968 and 1973, respectively.[5][6]
Career
Luzzo worked as a general civil practice lawyer for eight and a half years before he was appointed to the Broward County Court in 1981. He was then elevated to the circuit court in 1985.[6]

Luzzo won the election in the primary, receiving 56.2% of the vote. He then ran unopposed in the general election.[3][7]
