Netflix Tells 9th Circ. Its $9M Privacy Deal Passes Muster
Netflix Inc. is pushing the Ninth Circuit to shut down objections to its $9 million settlement of a class action accusing the company of violating the Video Privacy Protection Act, claiming that the pact is on par with similar privacy settlements reached by fellow online giants Google Inc. and Facebook Inc.
