      Pros

      - Client focused culture - Competitive salaries - Interesting and unique areas of specialization - Colleagues are friendly and engaged - Management is accessible and more than willing to roll up their sleeves - Tends to operate as a meritocracy, where talent and ability matter more than how long you've been there - Recent acquisitions have re-injected the entrepreneurial spirit that originally inspired the company's founding in 2005. You get the sense that the Integro of today is not the Integro of 2-3 years ago (in a good way)

      Cons

      - Some growing pains associated with being a relatively new/growing company, including outdated office layouts/furniture in some cities and relatively low-tech administration of benefits.

            Pros

The founders were solid people with high integrity. The original investors are industry icons and the idea to form a new broker was perfect with the chaos happening at the top tier brokers.

            Cons

The top management now are weasels. They say cream rises to the top but in this company its curdled cream. The guy heading the company has no respect for people just his own ego. I wouldn't be surprised if the CEO and GC engineered a sweet deal to cash in on the otherwise worthless paper stocks. By the way the former CEO Roger Egan was a very good man and excellent leader. My comments are about the current CEO.

              Pros

I earned a descent income but THRILLED that I am no longer apart of the dysfunction!

              Cons

Don't believe the "hype" about this company being a great organization. It is far from the truth. There is no culture, no sense of direction, no cohesiveness and definitely lacking in the leadership arena. There are FAR more negative reviews than there are positive. It has NOTHING to do with the former CEO of the organization as all offices are managed independently. This company is in serious need or a rebirth which will not occur until the current managers in place have been relieved of their responsibilities(demoted). Would never want anyone to lose their job!

                Pros

The only pro that I was able to come up with is salary.

                Cons

I don't know where to begin. This company is losing clients because of their outdated practices. There is little innovation and they ignore client feedback. The management is in maintain and recovery mode all the time. Everyone looks like they are at stress level 10 daily. There is no succession plan and very little training for new hires. You pretty much have to deal with whatever is thrown at you. The company operates like a mom and pop, but they target high profile clients. Overall the worst experience I have had in my career.

Absolutely nothing. Can't recommend one thing.

                  Cons

Wow, where to even begin. This was the worst company I've ever worked for. Not only is senior management incompetent but also mysognistic and toxic. Constant sexual harassment jokes were made, constant verbal harassment. Constant belittling. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this company.. this is the second time they're being sold in 5 years so that should tell you how bad they are at managing their finances. There is no HR.. so even if i wanted to complain about the toxicity that was going on, I couldn't. Also, there is no CEO. hasnt been for years. Expect to work long hours, work weekends and never be thanked.

                    Pros

My direct manager was great to work with along with some of the employees.

                    Cons

Unfortunately, the CEO only cares about himself and is a 5 yr old boy trapped in a 40+yr old body. Throw tantrums and is unprofessional. Very sneaky as well including stooping so low as to lay off an employee that was on maternity leave

                      Pros

very flexible employer when it comes to taking time off, etc.

                      Cons

mgmt is lacking in many cases...a bit of the old boy network exists...they have financial issues that need to be addressed. I assume this may become a bit of a sweat shop over time, as they try to meet their financial goals. also, I imagine they will be put up for sale at some point.

Small company good exposure Good location

                        Cons

Does not pay well in the Back office. ie. Accounting/Finance Lack of communication from Senior mgmt. Managers have no patience for new employees. Firm tries to hard to be a "wall st" type insurance broker

How probable is it to transition from a contract role to permanent employment? I'm nearing the end of my six-month contract, and while I enjoy my current position, I'm interviewing with other companies. I'm concerned about the possibility of being offered a full-time position just as I've secured another job elsewhere.
