I had my Mercedes vandalized while parked at a college, I turned in a claim for the damage. at first the claims agent said they would take care of it all and i would pay my $500 deductible. I took my car in to be repaired, after two days i called the shop to see when my car would be ready. the shop said they had not even started because the insurance company would not cover all the damage. I got a call from the insurance company saying they did fill like all the damage happen at the same day or time that i would need to file three separate claims each with a $500 deductible. I told them what evidence did you use to come up with this conclusion? they said none just our experience.. I said your my insurance whether it was one incident or three you need to fix the car get it fixed ASAP! ( i told them we would resolve our disagreements about the three vs one claim in court after my car was fixed. I am still waiting for my car to be repaired it is still in the shop!

This insurance company is just the worst! I was hit by one of their drivers, who admitted to being at fault for the accident. I spoke to an insurance agent named Tim who said there was no disagreement to my claim, & that an estimator would be out to see my car. An estimator did go to see my car, but I have heard nothing else. The accident was 1 week & 1 day ago. I called again today & spoke to someone else, who told me a check was issued yesterday, but "mistakenly" went to their policy holder & not to me. They said it will take 1 or 2 business days for them to void that check, & then they will re-issue me a check. No one was able to tell me the amount of the check, or guarantee that another one would be issued to me. NEVER make a claim thru this insurance! Always go through your own if you are hit by one of their insured drivers;.

This company is indeed the worst; will just deny your claim no matter what evidence you have. The agents are trained to just say NO like the credit card commercial. Ken Ciak Ceo will not respond nor have a direct way to contact him. File a complaint with the Dept. of Insurance, this will probably not get you anywhere, but after enough dings maybe something will happen. You can personally take them to court, but of course there is usually such a lack of contact that proving the bad faith treatment is a chore. If you are hit by an Ameriprise or ids company a sub-contracted firm of theirs, call the police DO NOT JUST EXCHANGE INFO. Told by IDS adjuster Ms. Martinez out of phoenix the worst that she would not consider pics, police report or body shop conclusion. She will not even release statement of her insured. When is the company going to really be stopped.
