This Dr is only after your money! I went here because I thought she would go the extra mile to determine what was causing my psoriasis. I was told I needed a very expensive food sensitivity test. I complied. I was then prescribed $40 vitamins among other supplements that were not cheap! After reading the ingredients of the vitamins when I got home I saw it contained an ingredient that I was told to avoid due to it showing up on the sensitivity test. When I called the office I was told they did not give refunds or exchanges on supplements. Even though the company that did the testing said for me not to take the vitamins! I was also told to take bleach baths for the psoriasis. She looked this up on the internet while I was in her office. I don’t think it’s very natural to soak in a chemical! They also check for metals in your system by pointing a laser beam at your hand. There is no way this can read the amount of metals in your blood! Although I’m sure some people have been helped by going on hormone replacement or taking a vitamin they were deficient in I just believe you would be better served to go to a DO doctor that takes insurance. This place is a money making scam in my opinion!

I saw this doctor when she was with New Horizon in Greer and went by the name Godenick. She is a nice enough person and could be a great doctor in a perfect world. But she is big on homeopathic medicine and there just isn't enough evidence that much of it actually helps. In fact, a lot of it can be dangerous. And, since insurance does not cover it, the patient is left with putting out a lot of money for things that, in my case, did nothing. There was this big thing about putting everyone on hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Connie went on from New Horizon to a facility that specialized in that. Now, we learn that it isn't the fix all that it was hyped up to be, that it isn't for everyone, and can be dangerous. For me, it did nothing but make me more sexually aroused, which is not a bad thing necessarily. But I was looking for more than that based on what the doctor said. When I chose to stop taking it because of the risks involved she understood but was puzzled that it didn't help. She wanted to try something else that I would have had to pay for out of pocket and could not really afford and I said no. Shortly after she left New Horizon.
