Productive Environment

It is a really great place to work. Pay is average but they do care about the employees. Insurance is decent but the overall atmosphere is really good. Stress is minimal

Bad Management Killed a Great Culture

For a company that has so many smart people in it, it really comes down to the owner's daughter if you move up within the company. That is also if she has time for you. You have to wait your turn until she is ready to proceed. Otherwise you are emailing, texting, calling over and over until she wants to work. The majority of the staff can't stand the situation and I expect once COVID is behind us, that there will be a lot of turnover. Great company that is killed by poor management.

Revolving door, exporting jobs to China and Mexico, age discrimination

Upper and middle management are unsure where they are going. They have moved production from United States to Mexico, China, and Europe. The corporate office is a shell of what it once was.

prouctive and fun

working at fluidmasters was fun and i was promoted to a janitorial position there so i learned a lot. I started out on an assembly line was promoted. the management was very understanding and willing to help out.. for the most part it is a very good company to work for.

Management staff turns over every 5 years

Company has lost a great sr staff team due to family members trying to find jobs within the company. Pays well so people keep their heads down for the money. Don't recommend investing your time.

Great people but no room for advancement

The company offers the best benefits, there is a family atmosphere there and I made a lot of friends working there...but the pay was less than average and there was no room for advancement in my department.

Good teams, and excellent top management.

I was hired to help them pick and implement their first computer system, then seven years later I helped implement their second system because they outgrown their first system. After their first implementation, I was made to be their Accounting Supervisor, in addition to remaining their Data Processing Manager. Everybody in the company worked great together. The President of the company also owned an Orange orchard and he use to bring in bags of Oranges to give to all of the employees (Very cool).

Overall a good company

Fluidmaster is a family owned and run business. They provide some good aspects about being employed but currently are under going changes in management and company direction.

Fast track to no where

Not much to say except if you are looking for some excitement and team atmosphere keep looking elsewhere. This is a manufacturing company atmosphere that is a bit old fashioned and family owned and run. Although an international company not much of an international flair. More like Ma and Pa kettle niceness.

Its a kennel

They treat you like a dog. Management is the worst I have ever seen, Say one thing and youre out. Turnover there is daily. HR have no clue what to do. Most people in management were promoted due to their lip service. Harassment is allowed since you cant say anything. HR covers for the company. Most supervisors and managers have such a big ego that its unbelievable they can fit through the door. Useless management that doesn't care about anyone or anything other then covering up their mistakes. You need to dumb down to work here and learn another language.

Fun work environment lot of young people

Floor mats was temporary summer job at the time learnt a lot how to work in a warehouse learn how to work with other people on a simile line liked it.

international company good to work for with good benefits, a swimming pool, work out equipment, paid holidays.

Overall good company to work for. opportunity for advancement is good. The Company encourages employees to participate in local city activities. The company provides opportunities for employees to volunteer to work with outside organizations. the work environment is good. employees love their jobs for the most part. They encourage advancement.

I worked for long time with Fluidmaster is was great.... but they moved to Mexcio. but that was good and a big comapny. we make valves for toilet.

Great place to work

Really great place to work. Very easy going employees and wonderful management. Great location. Hardest part of job was leaving and most enjoyable was coming in.

Enjoyable atmosphere with gym and pool facility.

• Converted Fluidmaster operating system from an average cost system to a standard cost system allowing management to gain a better understanding of the overall cost impact on the company. • Effectively lead conversion team for installation and implementation of new FAST (lean) system • Manage the budget process, including development and distribution of budget templates, coordination of management budget review meetings and integration into the financial modeling system. • Prepare trend analysis and monthly analysis of actual results versus budget and historical and provide recommendations for profit improvements. • Develop effective inventory process with emphasis on cycle times, low inventory and high turns within an international environment. Improved inventory turns by 28%. • Manage financial analysis and due diligence projects including pricing models, acquisitions and divestitures. • Review inventory value flow to ensure accuracy of master data accounting processes. • Manage month-end close activities ensuring all cost assessments are properly completed. • Managed the Cost Accounting function for US, Mexico and China from 1991 to 2008. • Managed all Cost Accounting functions for our Injection Molding operations
