Horrendous service. I called to find out why it doesn't show I've paid off my car, and the agents are terrible. After five security questions, he still didn't answer and told me he couldn't help. I was going to deposit a hundred grand into their accounts. Now, I never want to have to deal with them again!

I found First Entertainment to be lacking in areas that I found at bigger banks. The overall experience left me feeling underappreciated.
We have been with this credit union for over 29 years back when my husband worked for Warner Bros. studios. Recently, the customer service we have received has been horrible. I’m not sure what is changed, but we have had three circumstances which we have lost money and have not yet been able to resolve. The last situation we had, our credit card has been compromised and they have not yet reverse the charges. They were not able to give us the standard protocol as to a situation like this, and have bounced us back from us having to fill out paperwork which we have not received, to their promised that they would reverse the charges , and nothing yet. I guess all we can do is to continue to call and complain until they reverse the charges. No one has ever reached out to us. We will soon be moving our banking elsewhere, unfortunately.
FECU has gown way down - so low that I am not sure what happened, or who took over the credit union, but it is horrible. Was a good credit union 15 years ago. Absolutely useless and a ripoff! My car, first time I ever got a car loan through them, 25 year member, was disgusting. No value for long time member. Foreced placed insurance of which they have not repaid full (grossly large charge) to my account - when car was locked in a garage, provable. Progessive Insurance is part of that whole ripoff scheme. I hope everyone takes all of their money out of this institution and it FAILS. Absolutely the worst, ripoff policies, horrible in every respect.

This Credit Union is a disaster. They came and repossessed my car at 4 am. Two men came pounding on my door at 4 in the morning. They yelled and took the car. At 4 am. I'm 9 months pregnant. I had to pay in cash to get the car released and go to the police to get a police release. I worked with Andrea Galdamez over at First Entertainment. She was, needless to say, very unpleasant.
A friend of mine was late on her payments and they had a private investigator call 5 of her family members asking them to pay. I'm not opposed to repossession at all- I know actions have consequences, but these tactics of intimidation are what separates this credit union from professional ones.
As an over 35 year member of this credit union, FECU has turned its focus into automating member services, & schilling crappy products. This change has happened over the last 5 years of leadership. I still have a failed and antiquated line of line of credit that has to be resolved, the customer service is outsourced to talking heads who could care less, and upper management has failed to engage long standing members despite numerous requests to meet with them and to attend what are supposed to be public board meetings.
What made made this credit union special was its leadership. I got my first and last debt consolidation loan from the President of the Credit union as a 19 year old new to the film industry. He is the reason for my financial success. It was a wonderful ride.
It is now lead predominately by unqualified and entitled VP's and suits who scream and hang up because they cant locate their volume control on their own phone and justify their inaction for "you talking to0 loud" 12 requests to meet with the president have been met with a revolving door of incompetent executives who haven't a clue what good customer service looks like and still no meeting on those who should be accountable, Mr. President.
this is an excellent app to access and monitor all credit- no matter wgere you stand in terms of your credit history and standing. it is very useful and easy to keep on top of your credit.
Well there are easily to locate mixed reviews for this credit union, I found them extremely reasonable, pleasant, professional and thus easy to deal with

since i started this credit journey i have yet to find a lender or bank that manually goes through your credit report to give you a decision. FIRST ENTERTAINMENT WAS THE ABSOLUTE FIRST i asked for 30k and they provided it with a great interest rate. They are very fair across tbe board on top of that they use one credit inquiry for multiple credit applications... I highly recommend them. They have a customer for life.
The easiest way to lose customers is to tell them 'your call is important to us' then make them wait on hold for Over an Hour to reach a customer service representative. If you cannot adequately staff your customer service phone lines, sell your customer-facing operations to a competitor, who at least answers their phones.
