Evelyn B Upchurch

Evelyn Biggs Upchurch age 91, who left this world for her eternal home on January, 13, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, John Upchurch; parents, Arthur Sanford & Alice Summers Biggs; sisters, Irene Briley, Mamie Huffines, Jessie Bradley; brothers, Bryant Gordon, Roy Biggs, Vernon Biggs. Survived by children, Jerry (Montez) Upchurch, Laverne (Linda) Upchurch, Judy Upchurch Fisk, Kay (Marty) Upchurch White, Pam Upchurch (Chuck) Garrett; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 11 great- great grandchildren; sister, Helen Stewart and a host of family and friends. Evelyn was a native of the New Deal community. Evelyn retired from Baptist Hospital as a Certified Nursing Technician, she continued her skills in nursing working at Nashville Rehabilitation Hospital and private duty with various individuals in the Nashville area. She was a member of Jackson Park Church of Christ , her first love was for her Lord, her children and grandchildren along with nursing were the focus of her life. Graveside service Monday, January 16, 2017 2pm at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
