Elizabeth L. Martin and her firm are so unprofessional that they will ghost you, won't respond to your emails after the settlement, and won't pay you.

At first, they promised me that my settlement check has been mailed from Bakersfield office, which never arrived. Next, I took time off from work and picked my check, and the checked bounced due to "INSUFFICIENT FUNDS IN THE ACCOUNT". Now, Elizabeth L. Martin - the lawyer is giving me run around to retrieve my money.

Few things that you need to know about Elizabeth L. Martin law firm:

1. She is not based in the Bay Area. The San Jose address is like PO Box, but with a virtual chair. There is no actual office at that location. She is based off Bakersfield.

2. If you call her office phone, the phone will be forward to a third-party call-center where a rep will pick up your call, take your message and you will never hear back from her office.

3. Her employees or caseworkers are not someone who has knowledge of working in the field. They are basically interpreters who take your message and forward to Elizabeth. And mind you-you won't hear from her ever.

4. Lastly, don't think that this law firm will represent you in your accident case. They will take your case, SIT ON IT, ask you for paperwork, SIT ON IT, settle the case for lowest amount (remember her employees are not knoweldgebale), get paid, and when it comes to pay you, THEY will SIT ON YOUR FUNDS, will promise you that the check has been mailed out, but it will never go out. They will give you check, BUT IT WILL BOUNCE. And finally, your banging your head on the wall thinking what the hell did you get yourself into?

She will be hearing soon from California Bar for her un-ethical standards and unprofessional practices.

Shes still working on my case i believe she is doing an awsome job . She is very professional in her work. Takes it very serious and is trying her best to help me when every other lawyer wouldnt consider my case a good one .

At first, I was skeptical to do business with Atty.Martin because I didn't know her and I had to pay her upfront. But when I met her in person, she made me feel at ease and went out of her way to meet with me on a weekend. She knows her craft and can be trusted. I highly recommend her for your legal matters.

Not the kind of lawyer and the law firm you want to deal with. Stay away from them. I am surprised to see few people wrote positive feedback. But check this companies Facebook page and you will know its her own friends and family who wrote the feedback and not the actual clients.

I was hesitant to retain after reading the first review, but Mrs. Martin is incredible!! She is on her game. Familiar with the laws, strong in court, and gives you the time of day when you meet to actually listen to your concerns. Compassionate, but handles business and gets it done. She's amazing! Highly recommend.

Elizabeth was supposed to file a motion to seal a record 3 months ago. She told me she has filed. I called many times trying to obtain the status of my case. She didn't return any of my calls. I decided to speak with her legal assistant to get the filing case number so I can verify whether she had filed. Her assistant never got back to me!

She wasted my time; I could have gone to another attorney 3 months ago and resolved my issue.

She lacks professionalism and work ethics. I would never recommend Elizabeth to anyone I know.
