Ones Adams, 69, Final Rites Held

Final rites for Ones "Dock" Adams, 69, of Rt. 1 Bogue Chitto, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rawls Cemetery. The Rev Martin Hayden and the Rev. Dwight Smith officiated at the services.

Mr. Adams died Sept. 7 at his residence. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mattie Adams; five sons, Marvin, Oscar and O. H. Adams, all of Baton Rouge, John Adams, Hattiesburg and Edward Earl Adams, Fort Polk, La; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Hodges, and Mrs. Rosel Moak, both of McComb, Mrs. Annie P. Moak, Summit, Mrs. Rona Sue Moak, Monticello; a sister, Mrs. Effie Smith, Brookhaven; a brother, Pink Adams, Baton Rouge. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
