I have been doing Concurrent classes since I was in 10th grade, and EACC has been wonderful to me. My experience with the classwork has been pretty decent I'd say. The experience with professors has been iffy. There are some professors who have been great but then there have been some that have not. The advisors for the college have been very helpful and just amazing in total. The only thing I would like to see change is the professors should care more about what they are doing.
I am a concurrent student at East Arkansas Community College (EACC) completing my associates degree while simultaneously being in high school. My experience with this college has been amazing. The courses online have deepened my understanding on how the criminal Justice system works. It also provided me the opportunity to be ahead in college courses to obtain a bachelor degree. The teachers were amazing, they provided me with all the materials I needed to ace my courses and exams. And they also provided me feedback on my problem areas that helped contribute to future endeavors. The only change I would like to see is more criminal Justice classes available during summer sessions.
Though the format was new to me, I was helped by my advisor to get things figured out. So far, I enjoy working with my professors and, with their help, making sure I stay on my chosen path!
