Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThe company offers good benefits, insurance, per diem on top of pay, and a company vehicle. However, the commute to the project area can be upwards to 1.5-2.5 hours. Long hours (50+ hours) are expected for everyone, and no overtime is offered for salaried employees. EC Source also does not offer parental leave, so it isn't an ideal company to work for if you're family-oriented.
Pros
Company Vehicle, Pay, Benefits
Cons
Long hours with grueling commute, very little raises/bonuses

Good crews horrible upper management
Lineman (Former Employee) - Georgia - June 16, 2022
Upper management has no idea what they are doing. They under bid jobs then expect the employees to be able to make up for it. They lose money on all their jobs because of upper management that don’t know a powerline from their a**. 0 stars. They mess your check up all the time too

Decent company
SAFETY (Former Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - April 27, 2021
They do give some rewards for working hard or putting in extra. Slowly been being taken over by corporate and killing the family vibe. Manage to get extra out of everyone also.
Pros
Company parties
Cons
Expect lots of employees on salary

Project Safety Manager (Current Employee) - Palatka, FL - February 19, 2021

Horrible Experience
Field Service Engineer (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - August 22, 2020
Started off as a good experience, but it quickly declined. As employees started to argue over processes and management didn't have processes set. There was no training on procedures to say the least and the jobs were unorganized. It turned into a nightmare. After a round of obvious layoffs for lack of work, I was laid off due to an on the job accident after several others did much worse and still was employed.
Pros
Pay was good.
Cons
work environment was aweful

It is a joke of an employment company.
TEMPORARY POSITION/DATA ENTRY, ECSOURCE SERVICES (Former Employee) - Clear Lake, TX - February 18, 2020
HR doesn’t do a good job of resolving problems. There is terrible workers and terrible bosses. Not enough work gets done because their employees just play around instead of utilize their time on the clock. It isn’t a good work environment for anyone especially women. only men can move up in the company, women just get fired .
Pros
Good pay
Cons
Bad bosses and coworkers. You aren’t important unless you are a man.

Slow job and bad management
Executive Assistant (Former Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - October 16, 2019
No career advancement options. Advancements only available if they like you or already knew you from previous personal relationships. Very small company only 20 people in entire office. Lots of favortism. Management would not communicate at all. Benefits were the only thing good. Lay offs too common because not enough work to do and no direction from management. Management expect you to read minds it's just awful. People are overall nice but absolutely no job security

Don't work there
Environmental Scientist (Current Employee) - Saint Albans, WV - August 6, 2019
Management has no power and upper management is example of poorly run nepotism. There was never any training for the positions. You will be dropped in jobs above your pay grade and then degraded for not having the skills that you were never hired for. Not a place if you want a long term position.

Project Safety Administrative Assistant (Former Employee) - Mesa, AZ - July 11, 2018
I was able to obtain my OSHA 10 on the job. I was trained in different departments and gained new knowledge and job skills I didn’t have prior to obtaining the job. Also a family oriented work place, which was a huge plus.
