Born in London in 1956, David McMillan worked as a film technician before joining the drug-law reform movement. In the late ‘70s, McMillan became a smuggler between Asia and Australia, then South America and Europe. Although the contraband network was sophisticated, misfortune resulted in arrest and trial, twice resulting in potential death sentences in Asia.
