What does "DOES I through X and ROE CORPORATIONS I through X, inclusive, Defendants" mean?

This is just a "legalese" way of naming the Plaintiff an Defendant. It has no bearing on your case overall.

I think we were mis-communicating. if this is a SEPARATE summons from your husband's case, and a different case, then yes, you haver to put your name on the response.

No, you do not have to style it like they did - (Plaintiff's Name) v. (your name) would be just fine.

ROE Corporations applies if you hold any major stock, etc. It plays no bearing here (assuming you have no major stock).
