hold time is really 6+ minutes???? There is no hold when it's a sales call. Why on Earth is there a 6 minute service hold time? Horrifying.

Just don't ever use this company. This is literally one of the most frustrating experiences ever. Contracts, nobody knows what the next or last person did, extra charges everywhere, contract break fees, wait times, every agent you talk to has a different story about costs, time frames, what just happened. It's like trying to move in a web of horrible customer service. Companies like this should be forced out of business.

Worst company ever!!! They charge my card when they said they wouldn't, and then refused a refund. When asked for a manager they said, "they don't have a phone number." You are better off looking somewhere else for your home security needs.

OMG called this company to hook up a security system for my new home. Since they are a sub contractor with ADT, I felt they would be good...NOT.... this company is the worst. The customer service is almost non existant and the technician that came out to our home was completey worthless Our appointment was set up for 4 pm, the technician showed up at 10 pm and by then the monoriting company was closed and so nothing could be turned on. After that he did not bring any yard signs or placards for the home. When I called to complain, they were extremely rude and could not fix the problem. I have since cancelled my service with Defenders and even called ADT and they were no help either. I am very sad that ADT which I believed was a good company, would not help to fix the problem. So kif you need a security service think really long and hard before trusting this company and think twice before dealing with ADT.
