@girlhack @Xfinity 1/ You have to fight for the gig speeds (because most ppl won’t test or realizing they’re not getting what they paid for). Last Year I upgraded and could only get 450Mb down. Enterprise networking gear and Motorola modem with extra downstream channels.

Not only has @Xfinity only been giving us 120Mbps when we pay for 1000Mbps, but now our service has stopped working entirely! No internet until a technician can come out tomorrow. Looking forward to switching to @sonic ASAP.

Happened to me, years ago. The knowledge they had of the building, it had to have been insider info from a contractor.

Note to others- if you upgrade your @Xfinity WiFi to support working from home and your kids going to school, they shut off the WiFi on your personal modem during the time you have to wait for their hardware to arrive in the mail.
