The City of Hartford is a small town with friendly people. Our population is 2,571, and we are located in Western Kentucky just off the Natcher Parkway on the Rough River, which is a wonderful resource for canoeing fun. Hartford is the county seat of Ohio County. Our slogan for many years has been the "Home of 2000 Happy People and a Few Soreheads," but we hope you won't meet them.
Our city provides a wide range of services to our citizens. Come visit our city and downtown to enjoy the library, a variety of family restaurants, and shops. Nearby will be antique shops and the Ohio County Park for events and camping.
