The Pains of Being Pure at Heart Paperback – February 18, 2015

This thought provoking children's book written by Charles Steen III speaks to the indulgence of power & fame and the willingness to do the right thing. This wonderful read is the story of Lukus Loo, who finds that no matter what everyone thinks friendship is what really matters. As well as the title being the source of the name of the musical group "The Pains of Being of Pure at Heart". The book is also at the center of one of the most interesting legal cases in children's literature. "The Pains of Being of Pure at Heart" is the book that was plagiarized by Dr Seuss Enterprise and released as 'Daisy Head Mayzie'. Now you can read it for yourself and decide if the mysterious manuscript supposedly found by Audrey Geisel was taken from 'The Pains of Being Pure at Heart'. (No original manuscript of 'Daisy Head Mayzie' has ever been shown) "Keep on your path, even when cold. Soon knowledge and peace will unfold" -Lukus loo
